Zion: The Place and People of the Messiah’s Reign

Isaiah calls God’s people to proclaim the good news: “Behold your God!” The Lord is coming in power, bringing justice, deliverance, and tender care for his people. He is the sovereign Creator whom no nation, ruler, or idol can rival, yet he also gathers his sheep like a gentle shepherd and gives strength to the weary. God has not forgotten his people, no hardship is beyond his power, and those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength.
