Join us Sunday mornings for a new 14-week series taught by Kelly Bishop called START.

We will be exploring 14 exciting and essential topics of the Christian faith that will equip us to understand what every follower of Christ should believe and also what a follower of Christ should look like. This is also a great resource for those of you who are looking for a great curriculum to use in discipling others.

1 Peter: Living as Elected Exiles on Earth

Join us as we sit at the feet of Peter, the most brash, impulsive, and passionate of men transformed by the resurrection into the bold, wise, and equally passionate Apostle. Pastor Peter, by his life and his letter, showed us how to grow into the persons God intends for us to become–by going beyond “knowing” the right doctrine, by letting the Word of Truth work you over, to eat, drink, and breath it until it becomes part of your substance.

Discerning the Voice of God

About this study:

A decade ago, Priscilla Shirer authored Discerning the Voice of God, and since then God has continued to grow, teach, and challenge her in her walk with Him. This revised and expanded edition reflects that growth through new stories, illustrations, and exercises.

This video-based bible study by Pricilla Shirer which will include weekly personal study will assist us in learning how to discover the root to clear and daily communication with God—humble obedience. We will learn how surrender unlocks His many blessings intended for us, centers us in His will, and helps us discern His voice in everyday life.

Benefits:

  • Challenge yourself in the discipline of daily Bible study.
  • Gain practical advice for knowing and understanding God’s voice through His Word.
  • Learn to recognize the Holy Spirit’s character, language, and tone of voice.
  • Experience a deeper relationship with God, and strengthen your daily walk with Him.
This Bible Study meets every other week, please contact: Wendy@UniversityBibleChurch.com for more information.
