THIS WEEK AT UBC...
MINI-SEMINARY 6:00 PM Sundays
Theo
2 is the second course in a 4-part sequence that will cover the great
doctrines of the Bible. You did not have to have attended Theo 1 in
order to come for Theo 2. Each course and each class is accessible to
beginners as well as to mature Christians. The topics for this course
include the person and work of Jesus Christ and the person and work of
the Holy Spirit. We also speak about practical theology and the impact
that these important doctrines should have on the way that we live our
lives for Christ. Please contact Jeff Dallas with

WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY 7:30 PM Wednesdays

us for our mid-week Bible study. Everyone is welcome. Come and learn from the Bible,
participate in the discussion, eat snacks and get to know other people at UBC.

MENS FRATERNITY 9:00 AM Saturdays
We will meet on Saturday mornings (starting January 9) from
9-10:30AM right here at the church. We will be using the Mens Fraternity video curriculum to learn what it
means to be a man from a Biblical perspective. It is not chauvinist, macho, or stereotypical; it is
Biblical. Anyone can join at any

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS...
AMOR MEXICO MISSION TRIP August 13th-15th
Two nights of camping help to bring the church family together in a
special way. One long day of work helps to bring a needy Mexican family
into a new simple but safe and sound house that will keep them warm and
protected the whole year through. We’ve teamed up with Amor Ministries
who have developed a program of using the rudimentary skills of
untrained, but willing workers, to accomplish miracles. If you are interested please contact Jeff@universitybiblechurch.com
UBC TRIP TO ISRAEL (POSTPONED UNTIL 2011)
Led
by UBC member, Tuvya Zaretsky, the September 2010 ten day tour will visit a
number of biblical sites, including a few that are off many itineraries. We hope to include some time to meet or
serve Israeli Jews for Jesus. The
trip is estimated to cost around $3,000.

UBC KIDS ACTIVITIES...
GRADE SCHOOL LOCK-IN 6:30pm
Saturday, July 31
Kids
have been begging and we've finally given in! We will spend a whole night at UBC, beginning with pizza at
6:30 and ending with Jeff's famous breakfast in the morning. Games, videos and other typical
sleepover activities will fill up the evening. Bleary-eyed kids can stay for the morning church service and
go home with their parents. If you
