University Bible Church is a non denominational evangelical missions minded family church located in the community of Westwood California.

To all who worship with us, we offer a cordial welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We endeavor to combine the warmth of gracious Christian hospitality with the fervor of a personal devotional application of the great doctrines and eternal truth of the Bible. This church is committed to a Christ-honoring teaching ministry in which every effort is made to maintain a balance of the message with the manner of life.

Doctrinally, the position of the church is Biblical, evangelical and positive, centering its message on the basic essentials of the Christian faith proclaimed in love. We fully accept and joyfully declare the great fundamentals of "the faith once delivered to the saints" including the verbal inspiration of the Scriptures, the deity, Virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and visible, personal, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that humanity in its natural state is in an eternally lost condition, in helpless bondage to sin, and under the power of Satan, who is the great deceiver. We believe that salvation is by grace alone as God enables humans to receive Christ as Sovereign Lord and believe in Him as personal Sin bearer and Savior, thus making possible the new birth (John 1:22, Romans 10:9,10)

On the basis of Scripture, we believe that The Holy Spirit of God leads us to salvation, takes up permanent residence in the life of the believer at the moment of salvation, seals our redemption, reveals Bible truth, and performs God's work and will in us and through us (John 16:13, Ephesians 4:30, Philippians 1:6)

A varied and complete program of Sunday and weekday activities is available for all ages through the ministry of the church. Our desire is to provide teaching, counsel, fellowship, application and expression for the development of productive and joyful lives.

All are invited to make application for membership in this church who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and believe in Him as Savior, and who are willing to accept the church standards of faith and practice. At the close of each Sunday service, opportunity is given to confess Christ and receive further information. Counsel is available regarding other spiritual problems and questions as well.
